Dixon the Dog needs a home
Dixon is a 3 year old male chi mix we rescued from Orange Cove. Has a long body with short stocky legs.
- Takes a few minutes to warm up to you but then super friendly.
- Gets frisky at times
- Likes to sleep a lot and his current favorite place is the couch.
- He whines a little in the car
- Not excited to go in the crate but eventually goes in and is quiet.
- Doesn't make a peep all day and night.
- Is a solid dog heavier than he looks but on the thin side so could gain some weight.
- House trained had one accident the first night.
- Has ignored the guinea pigs thus far.
- Is extremely motivated by food.
- Doing well with leash walking. Occasionally needs some encouragement.
- Learning how to use the stairs.
- Really liked his post rescue bath melted into the sink was this relaxed.
Adoption fee: $250 includes altering and current vaccinations. Additional donations always welcome?????

We hold adoption events from San Francisco to the South Bay. Most dogs will be ready to go home the day of the adoption event. We accept credit cards and cash for our adoption fees. While adoption events are a great showcase for these amazing dogs, you don't need an adoption event to adopt a dog. Check out our adoptable pups, submit an application, and then meet them at their foster home!
